ASUS ZENBOOK PRO 14 DUO OLED 2022 REVIEW

Brush Stroke

They built a laptop with two screens, which - and at a time when I never thought I'd say those words - is actually pretty cool.

Brush Stroke

Asus has been using this form factor with two screens for a long time, and the ZenBook Pro Duo 14 OLED for $ 1,999.99 and above has something we haven't seen before.

Brush Stroke

Like previous models in the Duo line, there's a larger 14.5-inch screen on top and a smaller 12.7-inch screen (ScreenPad Plus) behind the keyboard.

Brush Stroke

Beneath this screen is the keyboard (the one that reaches the front of the deck) along with a small touchpad.

But the company made a small tweak that made work more comfortable: It raised the secondary screen by 12 degrees.

Brush Stroke

This reader changed everything. You see, last year's 14-inch Zenbook Duo only tilted the secondary screen up by seven degrees.

Brush Stroke

The 2020 model was even flatter. In both cases, I constantly bend my neck when I need to watch something on another screen.

Brush Stroke

Zooming in by 12 degrees doesn't seem huge on paper, but in the end, the screen is tall enough that I don't need to raise it anymore.

Brush Stroke

Right now, as I am writing this, I am leaning back in my office chair. I bow down a bit.

Brush Stroke

I can see the Pro Duo's main screen, and I can fully see the contents of its second screen as well.

Brush Stroke

I can read words on the secondary screen while lying down.
